Industry News: Planned $300M renovation reimagines entire downtown Denver block

MDP Engineering Group is excited to see High Fidelity Plaza at 621 and 633 17th Street reimagined as a true “vertical village” in the heart of downtown Denver.
Led by The Luzzatto Company, Inc., this ambitious adaptive reuse project will transform two of Denver’s earliest high-rise office towers into a dynamic mixed-use destination.
The revitalized towers will introduce a diverse mix of studio to three-bedroom residences alongside an intentionally curated amenity package including a rooftop pool and deck, coworking spaces, a market, café, bakery, bookstore/library, daycare, and even a children’s museum.
With an estimated $319 million investment, the project preserves key historic architectural elements while breathing new life into a prominent downtown block. The outdoor plaza will be redesigned as an art-filled gathering space programmed with sound, live music, and public experiences that extend well beyond traditional residential development.
We’re proud to be a part of this this transformative development that thoughtfully merges historic preservation, forward-thinking design, and community-driven planning to shape a truly distinctive urban destination.
