In The News: Adding More Affordable Housing at Denver Dry Goods Building with $67M Project

Turning history into homes — right in the heart of Denver.
We’re proud to be part of something truly special in the heart of downtown Denver—the transformation of the historic Denver Dry Goods Building into more affordable homes for our community.
In partnership with Jonathan Rose Companies and OZ Architecture, this $67 million redevelopment will not only add 55 new affordable apartments to the existing 51 for-rent units in the building, but progresses Denver's Downtown housing clean energy usage by providing all electrified apartments.
This project isn’t just about bricks and mortar—it’s about preserving history while building a sustainable, inclusive future. From restoring historic windows and repairing the iconic façade to creating welcoming resident spaces and community amenities, every detail has been designed with people in mind.
As the team designing the building’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, we’re helping ensure that the Denver Dry Goods Building is not only beautiful, but also comfortable, efficient, and ready for decades of service to the community.
We can’t wait to see this landmark’s next chapter unfold—and to continue using smart design to make a difference where it matters most.
Here’s to honoring the past while building a better tomorrow.
