MDP provided full Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing design for a new 31-unit apartment building located on a flat 1.02-acre site at the northwest corner of Broadway and Lee Hill Drive in Boulder, CO. This housing development is targeted toward formerly homeless adults. The project consists of a two-story, wood-frame construction building with a partial 5,000 square foot basement. This Boulder Housing Partners residence is utilizing Enterprise Green guidelines.
The residential component includes a mix of studio and one-bedroom units. In addition to the residential units, the project includes a community room featuring a warming kitchen. The building is fully sprinklered and each unit has a standalone water heater with a fan coil unit equipped with heating water, DX cooling coil, and associated outdoor condensing unit on the roof.
