MDP provided Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing design services for ConMed’s Suites1400 and 1500 at Palazzo di Verdi, totaling over 50,000 square feet of medical research tenant space.
Facility design included a 33,373 and a 17,032 square foot remodel that included three specialty laboratory areas: a Mechanical Lab, an Electrical Lab, and a Research Lab. These spaces were designed to accommodate specialized equipment such as fume hoods, smallscale manufacturing equipment, ovens, and refrigerators. The laboratory scope included dedicated HVAC systems, specialty exhaust, and a Make-Up Air system, while the office areas involved modifications to the existing HVAC system with relocated and added air terminals and diffusers.
