MDP provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering services for the comprehensive remodel and expansion of Rocky Mountain Catering’s headquarters. The project transformed an existing 4,000 square foot former restaurant into a modernized catering facility, complete with an expanded kitchen and repurposed dining areas converted into office and conference spaces.
The design also included a new 9,000 square foot single-story addition, housing a back-of-house area, employee break room, offices, a tasting room with restrooms, and a large open warehouse featuring a dish pit, walk-in cooler, packaging area, and delivery zone. MDP delivered the building addition in two phases—a Core & Shell package followed by an Interior Build-Out package—allowing for an efficient construction sequence.
In addition, MDP prepared a separate Site Development Planning (SDP) package, which included site photometric design for the parking lot and exterior lighting.
