MDP provided Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing design services for the renovationof an existing three-story retail building located in Denver, CO, transforming it into a vibrant mixed-use space that will accommodate office, restaurant, cafe, and bar functions. A major component of the project includes the build-out of Burndown, a new restaurant and bar concept that serves as the cornerstone of the reimagined building.
The venue is centered around a striking three-story atrium - an open vertical space that pays tribute to a 1978 fire which destroyed much of the original interior. MDP’s design supports the multi-level layout with integrated HVAC, lighting, and plumbing systems that preserve the open, industrial aesthetic while ensuring modern comfort and performance.
