The Denver Dry Building is one of the city’s most iconic and historic buildings. It was completed in 1910 and was originally constructed as the headquarters for the Denver Dry Goods Company, a prominent retail chain that played a major role in the economic development in Denver in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Today, the Denver Dry Building serves a mix of uses, including office spance and residential apartments.
MDP has provided full MEP services to renovate the Affordable Housing units, provide steam heating and domestic water conversion, and utility metering. The renovation included the remodel of the 51 existing Affordable Housing units, the remodel of existing office/retail space into 55 Affordable Housing units, and new office and amenity space. MDP also performed a conceptual study of the existing smoke control system.
