MDP provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design for this unique project. The existing 13-story concrete tower was re-positioned into a micro-unit apartment building with 190 studio units. Existing hotel rooms, approximately 375 sq. ft. each, were converted into studio apartments containing a private kitchen and bathroom. The existing restaurant and conference space on the top floor was converted into approximately 16 premium penthouse units. The existing pool was also enhanced and updated.
MDP is providing mechanical and plumbing design services for these two standalone, residential towers being constructed in the Union Station neighborhood of Denver, CO. The buildings are known as Block 4 South and Block 4 North. Block 4 South will be 12 stories tall with 107 residential units and Block 4 North will be 24 stories tall with 404 residential units. The ground floor of each building will include amenity and retail space. MDP is executing this project on a design/build basis.
MDP Engineering is providing MEP design services for this new senior-living facility in the Stapleton neighborhood of Denver, CO. Balfour at Stapleton is comprised of 74 assisted living and memory care units totaling approximately 60,000 sq. ft. Design services are also being provided for a full service kitchen and dining room, health club, and office and support spaces.
MDP provided full MEP design for this multifamily building at the corner of 17th and York Streets in Denver, CO. The 4 story, wood-frame construction will have 220 residential units as well as 2 stories of underground parking. The building will also include retail space on the street level.
MDP is providing full MEP design for two new residential buildings in Stapleton’s Town Center. The first building houses 207 residential units, 15,400 sq. ft. of commercial space, and 332 parking stalls. The second building houses 179 residential buildings, and 225 parking stalls.
Mechanical, plumbing, and high-rise smoke control design services are being provided for this new, 12 story apartment building in Denver's Five Points neighborhood. Alexan Arapahoe Square will contain approximately 350 residential units.

The building will contain retail and restaurant space, as well as above-ground parking serving the 300 residential units above. There will be a mix of studio, one, two, and three bedroom units as well as 12,000 sq. ft. of amenity space.
Full MEP design is being provided for this new 11 story apartment building in Denver, CO. The building will contain 300 residential units, as well as resident parking and amenity space.
Mechanical and plumbing design were provided for this assisted-living facility in Denver’s Riverfront Park neighborhood. This included the restoration of the Moffat Train Station for use as a common area. Balfour is comprised of 112 independent apartments, 65 with specially designed dining and outdoor areas, and 27 memory care apartments. Balfour includes an underground parking garage, 3 dining venues, a bistro/pub, rooftop bar, art studio, and several private dining rooms. It also features a fitness center, yoga studio, spa with indoor swimming pool, hydrotherapy pool, and a full-service beauty salon.
Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design were provided for a newly constructed multi-family housing project with 72 units. The project included a 1,000 sq. ft. fitness center and leasing office. MDP completed the first phase in a master plan project at what was previously a Catholic convent and girls’ school in Northwest Denver. This project was awarded LEED Platinum certification.
MDP is providing electrical design services for Eviva Cherokee. This 18 story luxury apartment building will include 274 units in the heart of the Golden Triangle. Amenities include a fitness center, a conference center and business lounge, professional prep kitchen and private wine room, an amenity deck with swimming pool, an outdoor amphitheater, and a high-end sports bar. This modern, energy efficient property is expected to be certified LEED Gold.
MDP designed full MEP systems for this 93-unit residential building. The project was design/build utilizing enterprise green community standards. A solar photo-voltaic system and a highly efficient HVAC system were designed and installed to help this project achieve LEED Gold certification.
MDP provided full MEP design for this 160,000 sq. ft. mixed income senior-living center. The 4 story building houses 89 residential units, a community room, game room, fitness facility, and Wi-Fi business center. Lighting for the 36,000 sq. ft. underground parking structure was designed to use energy efficient fixtures. Overall energy savings for the building is estimated at 316,000 kWH and approximately $30,000 per year.
Located along Denver RTD's "W" light rail line, the Zephyr Line Apartment complex is a new construction project consisting of 12 distinct buildings and a total of 94 apartments. MDP Engineering provided full MEP design for the complex, including public amenity space.
